1. worthwhile adj.重大的；值得做的
（教材P23）Even though being a camper has its challenges, I feel it is worthwhile.

（1）worth后加名词、代词或动词-ing形式，在句中作表语；而worthy和worthwhile为形容词，既可作表语又可作定语。

（3）表明“很值得……”时，用副词well作状语。
2. enthusiastic adj. 热心的，热衷的
（教材P24）With life being made up of ups and downs, it is not always easy to maintain a good and enthusiastic attitude.
生活总是起起伏伏，保持一种良好和热烈的态度并不总是容易的。

（1）upset作为形容词时，只作表语，不作定语。

4. elect v. 选举，推选
